Ye old manifest papers from Scotland

A few weeks back, I found the manifests for the ships that brought over our great-grandparents to Chicago from Glasgow, Scotland!

I never knew that David Pryde Hay (great-grandpa) came over, by himself, 8 months before his wife and children.

He arrived on the S.S. Tunisian on October 19, 1922.

Cecillia Hay arrived aboard the S.S. Columbia on June 23, 1923.

With her were Thomas Hay (age 5), Jemima Hay (age 3), and John Hay (age 1)

I am guessing that the wife and kids were staying with family in Dundee, Scotland before they came over to Chicago.
